* Administers benefit programs such as retirement, health and welfare, leave of absence, disability, FMLA to meet Company, collective bargaining agreement & federal/state requirements. * Counsels participants on benefit programs including plan features, provisions, procedures, & eligibility information. * Identifies & resolves moderate to complex issues in a timely fashion for work accommodation purposes and recognizes when to escalate for resolution. * Will monitor service level agreements & advise management when issues exist. * Resolves moderate to complex benefit program administration issues, changes to programs or service issues with internal staff & outside vendors. * Review of record keeper reports & billings. * Develop & implement quality assurance practices related to assigned programs. * Maintains up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements to proactively manage service impact. Assists Benefits Manager on additional responsibilities as assigned.

* · Administer benefit programs for all full-time & qualified part-time employees (Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drugs, Short & Long Term Disability, Group & Supplemental Life, Flexible Spending Account, 401k Retirement Plan, & Employee Assistance Program. * · Interpret benefit information, employment laws, employment policies & procedures, payroll & other human resource related issues. * · Implements benefits meetings, oversee new hire orientations. Arranges & conducts employee information & training presentations for open enrollments meetings, & oversee new hire orientations & employment verifications. * · Prepares voluntary & involuntary termination documents & procedures, exit forms, benefit notifications & COBRA. * · Responsible for processing FMLA & Short Term Disability Claims & inquires. * · Respond to employee & manager needs & other duties as assigned.

* · Provides support to management on human resource related issues such as company policies, workers’ compensation, & LOA’s. * · Manages performance counseling process. Conduct internal investigations & make resolution recommendations for disciplinary & compliance issues, unemployment compensation claims & fraud claims. * · Organized full cycle recruiting actions for the Walnut & Ennis facilities. Managed job fair open houses to promote visibility of the company to generate applicant flow. * · Coordinates co-employment temporary associate transitions to fill regular full time employment with the company. Assist managers in reviewing & interviewing associates for internal promotional career opportunities. * · Responds to associates inquires in relation to benefits & compliance, company policies, procedures, governmental rules & regulations. * · Conducts new associate orientations, open enrollment meetings & other related associate programs & special events.
