Determine ways to minimize the cost of Affordable Care Act mandates. Maintain and redesign The University’s internal employee benefits website. Analyze benefit data for cost effectiveness and change potential. Create reports for internal use and union negotiations. Provide timely, friendly, and accurate customer service to employees regarding their benefits. Assist with annual open enrollment process. Communicate with vendors to resolve claim issues and benefit plan details.

Conduct all corporate new hire benefit orientations ensuring employees understand all benefit offerings. Resolve insurance claim issues for all offered plans for active, retired, and COBRA employees through analyzing the issues, trends, and working directly with vendors to resolve. Administer 401(k), company stock purchase plan, and flexible spending programs for all company locations. Process life insurance claims for active and retired employees. Manage and coordinate annual Health and Welfare open enrollment process. Actively participate in the employee action committee to improve employee moral.

Manage open enrollment process including UKG Pro system configuration, carrier EDI files, employee experience, employee contribution rates, and communications.Monitor laws and limits pertaining to all employee benefit programs and update current offerings to ensure compliance.Create, edit, and analyze reports using multiple platforms including ADP Enterprise, UKG, Plansource, and Ceridian Dayforce.Maintain in-depth knowledge of HRIS system, UKG, to troubleshoot system errors and resolve configuration issues. Manage HRIS system implementations from ADP Workscape to ADP Enterprise to UKG. Facilitate ACA 1095 reporting and RFP process. Show less
