Asset Buyout Partners (ABP) is a specialized investment company targeting industrial infrastructure, established by HitecVision. I started in ABP a few months after the platform was established and was a key member of the investment and strategy team, with day-to-day team lead responsibility for M&A and strategy processes. When I left ABP, the portfolio was valued at approximately NOK 8bn. In May 2021 it was announced that the listed Swedish real estate company, Fastighets AB Balder, would acquire ABP for an enterprise value of NOK 9bn.
