Posten Norge provides activities within postal services, express services, logistics and the IT market.Norway Post aims to become the world’s most future-oriented postal operator. Norway Post’s business concept is to develop and deliver complete communications and logistics solutions to domestic and international customers through physical and electronic networks. In 2004, group revenues totalled NOK 18 billion. Norway Post’s logistics services include the distribution of logistics products, express services, general and bulk cargo, and temperature-controlled transport services, combined with information and payment services. In 2005, logistics operations will provide the group with revenues in excess of NOK 7 billion. The acquisition of Frigoscandia, together with other acquisitions made this year, will provide Norway Post with revenues of around NOK 10 billion from logistics operations.
