* Year-long co-op with the iPod System Integration team: * Developed prototypes to drive and develop new features for future products. * Worked cross-functionally with mechanical engineering and low-level software teams on prototypes * Owned schematics and PCB design for prototypes, helped with future product schematic capture * Debug and validation for NAND memory, USB 2.0, Audio Codec, Batteries, Cameras * Experience with Cadence Allegro Capture (Schematic and Boards)

* Early senior team member on Spectacles team: -- Put in place hardware verification and factory management processes that helped take Spectacles v1.0 from concept to mass production. -- Hardware lead for a silently released cost-down + reliability improvement effort on v1.0 -- Helped manage transition to a second CM partner after initial rollout -- Joined Analog/Power Team, projects included qualification of a custom miniaturized battery

* I'm a product-level hardware engineer - my team is responsible for the conception, design, cross-functional integration, and manufacturing of all electronic pieces of the products we work for. * Right now, I'm managing a team of outside contractors and leading EE design and manufacturing/test on a new Nest product. Stay tuned! * In this role, I've taken a variety of tasks: * System-level architecture and circuit design * Mass production/manufacturing experience at contract manufacturer (CM) factories in Asia * Debug and validation of all manner of circuits (both hands-on, and managing external teams) * Lead engineering teams at CM during prototype builds on-site, and remotely for validation * Drive features and concepts alongside product marketing team * Work cross-functionally with MechE, Software, GSM, Operations and DFM resources * Drive vendors to debug problems, reduce cost and size, and improve design
