SAE International is a global professional association for engineering professionals in aerospace, automotive, and commercial-vehicle industries. The association provides engineers and technical experts with a career center, educational programs, and publications; organizes meetings and events; and sets professional industry standards. More than 138,000 engineering professionals are part of SAE International. The association offers articles, standards, technical papers, books, videos, and training and educational programs on various topics such as bodies and structures, design engineering and styling, fuels and energy sources, maintenance and aftermarket, human factors and ergonomics, management and product development, power and propulsion, transportation systems, and more. SAE International's charitable arm, the SAE Foundation, supports many programs, including A World In Motion® and the Collegiate Design Series.
