An education-related project assisting students in writing their thesis papers, diplomas. Consists of a main API and a number of services (keyword service, "guide" service for building document structure to specific topics and a number of auxiliary services, downloads, text check, keyword mining. A GIS-related project. Comprises several geodata converters and visualization tools and a database for storing grid and point spatial data. The converters provide input for several models (SWAN, POM, BOM, ROMS) from reanalysis sources. Visualization tools take the output of those models and create GeoTIFF or ESRI Shapefile output for further presentation. The project has a modular structure, i.e. data extractors and renderers are relatively independent units which can be easily extended with new components and/or combined into new apps. Also, the project provides automation patterns for models which allow to build and run scenarios involving DEM (Digital Elevation Map) alterations as a result of seasonal changes as well as tools for splitting up and merging back of long calculations. A GIS-related project comprising two units: a distributed meteo-data storage (combined SQL and netCDF) and a data acquisition unit fetching climate forecasting and observation data and passing them to the storage. As a transport layer for that project I used my Symphony framework, a delayed task execution system for distributed environments written in Python and ZeroMQ. The system has a simple UI written in AngularJS. It runs on several instances in a simple KVM private cloud (4 hypervisors) deployed using SaltStack. Worked for for a single client: Liberty Global NL Network automation project. A tool for network administrators to manage configurations of network devices. F5, Checkpoint and CISCO API integration. One of the important commercial features I was working on was the impact assessment tool to perform pre-flight checks of the configuration to be applied.
