Currently working for Austin Commercial as a Project Engineer. Completed masters degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering and Project Management at The University of Texas at Austin. Worked for EST Companies for three years in Hawaii/Pacific fulfilling the roles of business development and project management. Previous research experience included working as a Biomedical Engineer / Research Coordinator at the VA Rehabilitation, Research and Development Center of Excellence for the Medical Consequences of Spinal Cord Injury, located at the James J Peters VA Medical Center, Bronx, NY. Daily responsibilities included ReWalk training, testing, and data analysis. In 2007 I began working as a volunteer firefighter and EMT-B for the Ocean Beach Volunteer Fire Department between the months of May and August and continue to do so. While I was pursuing my B.S. in Biomedical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, I worked for Mohawk Ambulance Service in the City of Albany as an EMT-B responding to 911 medical emergencies during two of my undergraduate years.
