All instructors are both pastors and scholars who have contributed to biblical scholarship and take a personal interest in your spiritual and academic growth. Whether your interests are in pastoral ministry, service or scholarship, the seminary has programs for you. The seminary offers two distinct programs of study. One is the three year Master of Divinity program, where you’ll prepare to become an ordained minister. The other is a two year Master of Arts program, with concentrations in Biblical Counseling and Urban Mission work. This program is designed for you to explore your personal interests and faith commitments as you prepare for a life of service. There are many organizations and fellowships you can join to enhance your college life, like the Westminster Student Association, Prayer for Missions group and Westminster Women’s Fellowship. Events like morning devotional prayers and special convocations happen frequently during the year, so you can cultivate a deeper relationship with Christ. Admissions require that applicants complete an application and send in official transcripts and ecclesiastical and academic letters of recommendations to be considered for enrollment. Students who maintain an average GPA of 2.0 and file a FAFSA may be eligible to receive financial aid through scholarships, grants, loans and academic awards.
