Ut Southwestern Medical Center

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School is one of four medical schools in the University of Texas system. The school offers a four-year curriculum consisting of both departmental and interdisciplinary teaching. The school also offers combined degree options to address specific areas of interest. Admissions for UT Southwestern Medical School are extremely competitive. It is strongly recommended that interested applicants obtain a bachelor’s degree and complete undergraduate coursework at a regionally accredited U.S. College or University and have all prerequisites graded by that school. The school desires students who reside in Texas and plan on completing at least four years in the program. Student life is very balanced at UT Southwestern. Students study and work hard, but then kick back and have some fun, too. From joining one of the dozens of clubs or organizations to playing intramural sports to seeing the many amenities Dallas has to offer, there’s never a dull moment on or around campus.
