Universidad Católica Del Maule

Universidad Católica del Maule is an institution of higher education belonging to the Council of Rectors. The University participates in the legal personality of public law of the Catholic Church, is a person of public law in accordance with Chilean legislation, recognized by the Chilean State as a University derived from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, according to Decree No. 930 of the Ministry of the Treasury of October 15, 1991. The termination of his condition as Headquarters, he presented to this new University the need to independently define his future work, based on accumulated experience, to assume the challenges that his existence as a University represents autonomous. Thus, the Catholic University of Maule is an institution with full autonomy, understood as the right to decide for itself, in accordance with its Statutes and Regulations, everything concerning the fulfillment of its purposes.
