The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta connects people to the issues and organizations making a difference in their region. by providing quality service to donors and innovative leadership on community issues. Since we first opened our doors in 1951, the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta has made it their mission to connect the passions of donors with the nonprofits fulfilling that purpose. They keep their finger on the pulse of the issues and organizations that make a difference in our region. They’ve developed expertise not only in philanthropy, but also in strengthening the region’s nonprofits and in identifying opportunities to inspire positive change throughout the metro Atlanta region. Of the nearly 750 grantmaking community foundations across the country, the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta is one of the nation’s top 20 by asset size. They’re also accredited by the National Standards for U.S. Community Foundations, have a four-star rating from Charity Navigator and continue to receive national recognition for their financial health, accountability and transparency.
