The Texas A&M Health Science Center (TAMHSC) is a system of educational institutions made up of a variety of campuses and specialties from which to choose: * Baylor College of Dentistry * Coastal Bend Health Education Center * College of Medicine * Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences * Institute of Biosciences and Technology * Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy * School of Rural Public Health * South Texas Center TAMHSC awards undergraduate and graduate degrees, and some campuses offer special summer enrichment programs to help those who want to keep learning and desire more support in their academics. There are even some pre-professional groups that are actively involved with TAMHSC such as the Pre-Dental Society and the Pre-Medical Society. These groups can give students knowledge and information about their intended careers. Each facility has it own admissions guidelines, but students should be prepared to complete a personal interview as well as submit an application and fee, recommendation letters, standardized test scores, and transcripts. Those who are interested in financial aid at TAMHSC to assist with tuition costs should submit a FAFSA to determine eligibility for need-based programs. Tuition fees vary between campuses. As far as merit-based loans and scholarships, students must apply for those individually, as they have different requirements and deadlines.
