Tabor College

A small, selective Christian school, Tabor College offers small classes, academic and professional degrees and accelerated bachelor’s degrees for adult learners. Tabor also awards all of its students some form of financial aid through its long list of scholarships and other sources. Academics at Tabor College include three general areas of study: Applied Arts, Education and Social Sciences. Specific majors within these individual departments include: * Business Administration * Education * History * Social Work * Graphic Design * Music * Christian Ministry * Medical Technology Pre-professional majors include: * Pre-Dental * Pre-Law * Pre-Medical The adult studies program allows working adults to get their bachelor’s degree in as few as 18 months. With the student body deliberately kept substantially below 1,000, students get the experience of small classes, which foster intimate discussions. Select college life activities include campus ministry, Christian community groups, performing arts activities, a campus newspaper and several student clubs. The average ACT score of entering freshmen is 22.3 and the average GPA is 3.31. Admissions requirements include an application, high school and college transcripts, and SAT or ACT scores. Tabor College has a number of scholarships and grants for eligible students, which include those awarded for high grades and SAT scores, talent scholarships, matching grants from churches, and scholarships for transfer students. Students may also receive federal grants, loans and work-study awards. Most aid packages combine awards from all these sources.
