Suny Maritime College

An exciting campus in an exciting city, SUNY Maritime College in New York City offers high-ranking programs in Maritime studies and Engineering for military cadets. In the school’s regimented environment, students are challenged while also getting such exciting opportunities as the chance to sail around the world. Boasting top-notch faculty members who come from all over the world to share their professional skills, SUNY Maritime has received high rankings from Princeton Review and U.S. News and World Report, particularly for its bachelor’s degree in Maritime Engineering. Additional bachelor’s degrees are awarded in Marine Environmental Science, Marine Operations and Marine Studies, Electrical Engineering and Naval Architecture. SUNY Maritime also offers a master’s degree in International Transportation Management. Students in these programs undergo rigorous training, with particular emphasis placed on hands-on work. An application with transcripts, recommendation letters and SAT scores is required for admission to SUNY Maritime. Financial aid is available to eligible students through state and private scholarships, in addition to other sources.
