Suny Cobleskill

SUNY Cobleskill, recognized by U.S. News as one of the top colleges in the northeast, is a leading educator of Schoharie county agricultural and other professionals. Part of the respected State University of New York System, SUNY Cobleskill houses three schools: the school of agriculture and natural resources, the school of business and the school of liberal arts. Each of Cobleskill’s three colleges grant bachelor’s as well as associate’s degrees. With a particularly strong focus on agricultural sciences, SUNY Cobleskill grants bachelor’s degrees in such specialized agricultural fields as Agricultural Business Management, Animal Science, Agricultural Equipment Technology, Fisheries and Aquaculture, and Dairy and Production Management. One of the unique features of a SUNY Cobleskill education is the integrated learning experience. Internships on campus at a farm, a histotechnology laboratory, fish hatchery and equestrian center help solidify the learning experience. Students at Cobleskill may also benefit from career services, which helps students to generate a career plan, coaches them in interviewing and resume writing techniques, and assists them with job placement. Other resources and services available at Cobleskill include financial aid for eligible students, a counseling center, health services and academic support.
