Its teacher-training program is also one of the most respected in the state. Students in all majors also take a certain number of courses in the liberal arts. They may even major in a select number of liberal arts subject areas. Student life options include spiritually oriented activities like campus ministry, as well as recreational, special interest, and cultural clubs and organizations. Admissions requirements include submission of an application, transcripts and ACT or SAT scores. Those who have not taken the ACT or SAT may take the Compass entrance exam in its place.
