South Suburban College

South Holland, Ilinois is where South Suburban College students work toward earning an associate’s degree or transferring to a four-year college, all while within driving distance or a train ride to Chicago. You, too, can join them, especially if you have an interest in the departments of business, computer technology, engineering, fine arts, health professions, legal studies, social & behavioral science and nursing. The office of admissions is prepared to answer any questions about the application, rolling deadlines, financial aid, courses and other school information. In order to receive financial aid at SSC, accepted students must fill out the FAFSA. With that paper work, students may become eligible for federal loans, grants, and private scholarships. Work-study, veteran’s benefits and other aid are also available to those who qualify. South Suburban College’s student services include adult and community education, placement testing, transfer programs, a writing center and career development. The career development center makes it its business to ensure that its students are well prepared for the job search and provide connections with possible employers.
