While the university is predominantly Catholic, admissions do not require you to be, as the university welcomes those of all faiths and has a number of Muslim, Jewish, Protestant, and Buddhist students. Seton Hall’s tradition of theological study is also rich. The school contains the Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology, which offers programs that cater to both seminarians studying for Catholic priesthood or lay students looking for an education in theology. The school offers more than just theological studies, as students may receive degrees in over 60 majors, like Anthropology, Journalism and Public Relations, Modern Languages, and many more. Academics also include offers master’s and doctoral programs through a broad range of categories like arts and sciences, education and human services, business, law, and more. Students must apply yearly for financial aid. Scholarships are offered to eligible students just by applying to the school. Other forms of aid available include a number of federal loans, like PLUS, Stafford, and alternative student loans.
