Personal Caregiver

Personal Caregiver assists clients in assisted living environments, skilled care settings, and hospital settings. They provide sitter and companion services that include reminders such as medication, dates, and routines; maintaining the patient’s comfort level; assisting with meals and feeding; providing companionship and conversation; and seeking assistance from the hospital or facility nurse when the patient is in need. Additionally, they provide patient monitoring, supervise patients through the night, ensure family members that their loved one is safe when they are unable to be there, and provide entertainment such as games, crafts, and reading, assuring the patient will not be left unattended and will be accompanied by an aide at all times.
