Nazarene Theological Seminary

Nazarene Theological Seminary is an educational institution for those looking to become ordained ministers. Established in 1945, this private college is located in Kansas City, Missouri. This school offers academics through master’s degrees in Intercultural Studies, Divinity, Theological Studies and Christian Education, in addition to a Doctorate of Ministry program. Admissions to this school are designed to consider as much as possible about the applicant. In addition to an application form and a fee, students must submit a personal statement, official transcripts, and three letters of recommendation from a pastor, a professor, and a clergy member. Nazarene offers students a chance to be involved in their college life as much as possible. Students and their families can take part in the Seminary Singers, who perform at church and public functions. Nazarene also has an array of student leadership groups including Students for Social Justice, Women in Ministry, and the Student Leadership Team. In addition to tuition fees, students are also responsible for registration fees, late fees, rescheduled exam fees, and drop fees. Financial aid is available to those who qualify. Nazarene Theological Seminary financial aid is available through scholarships, grants and loans.
