National Career Education

Easily accessed from Sacramento and surrounding areas, National Career Education in Rancho Cordova, California, provides training for area residents in select medical careers. In addition to classes, all students also get valuable professional experience in the course of their program. Located just outside Sacramento, the campus of National Career Education is accessible from several highways and main roadways. There is also plenty of campus parking. National Career trains students in Medical Assisting and Optical/Optometric Assisting. All students receive training through classwork that prepares them for the final portion of the program: an externship, or professional work assignment in their field. Externships are an important part of the program as they give students the chance to exercise what they've learned while meeting potential employers and getting a valuable credit for their resume. Students get training in job searching and interviewing skills, both in class and through one-on-one coaching, along with job placement assistance.
