Moorpark College

Located inland of Oxnard, Moorpark sits in the culturally rich Southern California region, just north of Los Angeles. Moorpark College is part of the California Community College system, allowing students to easily transfer credits to California State University or University of California schools. Moorpark College offers associate’s degrees as well as occupation-specific certificates. Career Pathways is a program designed by Moorpark College to help facilitate the transition from the classroom to hands-on training to real life career exploration. Career Pathways and career-specific certificates can be earned in disciplines from Agriculture to Engineering, from Fashion to Public Services. Associate’s degrees can be earned in even more disciplines than career-oriented certificates. Moorpark College offers associate’s degrees in a large number of concentrations, helping students hoping to transfer to four-year universities are able to do so with ease. Student services include distance education, academic workshops, language labs, tutoring, and so much more. The staff at Moorpark College is ready to help students succeed in every goal they commit to. For students working toward an occupation-specific certificate, the career center can offer Saturday courses to better prepare students for the working world.
