Our company will transform the dating market with the new mobile app Michi, breaking the vicious feedback loop of antagonistic selection strategies of sexes with the help of gamification, and connecting the physical and virtual experience with the help of augmented reality. We believe that proper use of technology can help people improve their lives and build healthy social networks beyond the screen. Even though loneliness is a structural problem that troubles Western civilization societies, the wave of popularity of dating apps did not bring much improvement. The problem of vicious feedback resulting from divergent selection strategies for men and women has been only amplified: a significant part of straight men using dating apps will never meet anyone - they spend a lot of time browsing profiles, and as soon as they find a match, they write superficial messages. Women, on the other hand, are flooded with a huge amount of routine messages, which makes them quickly lose interest. Consequently, both parties are disappointed and after a few months, they give up using an application that has nothing but frustration for them. We want to transform the way people in dating apps interact with each other. We want users to encourage genuine connections, to explore real relationships, to be precious to each other and stop the vicious feedback loop between the men and women. With different meaningful strategies for establishing connections, we give chances to people who are marginalized on Tinder-like apps. We build the social infrastructure that helps to avoid loneliness long term, by not only matching the couples but also gives people wide social opportunities based on mutual passions and interests, help people arrange real datings and find each other not only on the screen but also on the streets.
