An academic and cultural hub, Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina, offers an abundance of academic programs along with lectures, arts festivals and other culturally enriching activities. Undergraduate programs are divided into distinctive schools including the School of Business, the School of Arts and Humanities, the School of Science and Human Development and the School of Public Affairs. Methodist also hosts lectures by scholars on politics, religion and other subject areas throughout the year. While the freshman admissions process is selective and students are evaluated based on standard criteria such as test scores, grades and recommendation letters, Methodist evaluates each student individually. Once accepted, students have access to many financial aid opportunities. Based on need or academic performance, aid programs include scholarships, loans, grants and work-study. There is also a tuition exchange program, which allows family members of employees at over 500 universities to attend Methodist free of cost.
