Los Angeles Harbor College

A degree-granting two-year school, Los Angeles Harbor College offers easy access for students living in a number of communities throughout Los Angeles County. Los Angeles Harbor College offers associate’s degrees in various fields including the arts, humanities and sciences. They also have a number of certification programs leading to careers in high-demand professions. Day, evening, weekend and online classes are all available. Situated off the 110 freeway in Wilmington, LAHC is equally close and accessible to Long Beach, the South Bay and Inglewood. Student services includes a career and transfer services center which offers internships, online career assessments and one-on-one counseling. As part of the Los Angeles Community College District, LAHC has well-established transfer agreements with all Cal State and UC schools. Financial aid is available to eligible students who need additional assistance with tuition or with books and other class materials. Forms of aid include loans, grants, and veterans and vocational rehabilitation benefits.
