Lindsey Wilson College

An educational experience designed for academic and spiritual growth with an emphasis on student engagement is what you’ll receive at the Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, Kentucky. The school was founded by the United Methodist Church. To honor its religious commitment, the school provides many spiritual resources to students. These include campus ministries and several spiritual organizations, like Awakening, a traveling theatre group that performs devotional skits and music at churches, and LIFE, a worship experience complete with music, creative arts and more. Other student life activities include athletic teams, residential life and a wide variety of student organizations. Lindsey Wilson also provides special student services like academic workshops, career counseling, professional preparation and more. Admissions are reviewed on an individual basis through a rolling admissions policy. Criteria include GPA, class rank, community involvement and ACT or SAT scores. Academics include more than 19 bachelor’s programs like Art, Biology, Christian Ministries, Counseling and Human Development, and Business Administration. Master’s degrees are also offered in arts and education. To qualify for financial aid through scholarships, work-study programs and federal grants and loans, students must submit a FAFSA application by March 1.
