Juniata College

To get a sense of how effective Juniata College’s academics are, take a look at where its students go after they graduate. About 95% of Juniata alumni find employment or enroll in graduate school within six months of graduating. Much of this post-graduate success is due to the college’s emphasis on experiential learning. Internships, research, study abroad and other hands-on learning opportunities are central in Juniata College’s academics. Nine out of every ten Juniata students participate in such opportunities. Student life at Juniata features nearly 100 student clubs and organizations, NCAA Division III athletics and school-sponsored performances by artists from throughout the United States and abroad. Juniata also has some delightfully bizarre campus traditions like Storming the Arch, Mountain Day and Lobsterfest. Juniata’s admissions use the Common Application, along with the Juniata College Supplement. The college assigns an admissions counselor to all of its applicants, so you can ask questions and get support throughout the admissions process. Institutional financial aid at Juniata consists of need-based grants and merit scholarships. All incoming students are automatically considered for merit scholarships. To apply for need-based aid, however, you must complete the FAFSA.
