HCCG is a non-profit organization run by students. Their management team hails from a variety of academic disciplines, including STEM and the humanities. The executive staff is divided into two parts consulting, which controls casework and client relationships, and operations, which manages the day-to-day practicalities of membership activities. They have conducted in-depth industry research white papers on emerging trends for Gen-Z using expert interviews, focus groups, and surveys in addition to its work for clients. They provide business plans, competitive analysis, market research, and marketing and advertising to their clients.
