Gruppo Editoriale L’Espresso is a publishing groups. It operates in all sectors of communication, from dailies and periodicals to radio, the Internet, television, and advertising. It is a listed company and is subject to the management and coordination of CIR SpA. Gruppo Editoriale L'Espresso SpA, listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, publishes the national daily newspaper la Repubblica and the weekly magazine l'Espresso. Through its subsidiaries it also publishes 18 local daily newspapers, broadcasts three national radio stations (including Radio Deejay) and has one TV network. L’Espresso also operates in the internet sector and collects advertising for the Group publications and also for some third-party publications. Chairman is Carlo De Benedetti and company’s CEO is Monica Mondardini. The Espresso group has organized its activities into five business divisions: National Press: la Repubblica and its supplements, l'Espresso, four monthly and two bimonthly, Local newspapers: 17 local dailies and one three-weekly paper, Digital, Radio and TV: three national radio stations (Radio Deejay, Radio Capital and Radio m2o) and other musical tv, Advertising with the company Manzoni. In 2014 the Espresso Group had revenues of 643.5 million euros, an EBITDA of 59.8 million euros and a net income of 8.5 million euros.
