Fontana Group has been honored with the prestigious prize ''Premio dei Premi 2020'', awarded by the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarerlla, the highest Award for Innovation. Fontana Group was established in 1956 as a workshop of mechanical and shearing processing; founded by Pietro Fontana it became a joint-stock company in 1980 with the entry of the second generation, defining its own vocation as a dies maker for the automotive field. The Fontana Group productive core business is nowadays represented by three main divisions: the engineering, the construction of dies and the stamping and assembling of steel and aluminium body in white for the most luxury cars: Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Ferrari, Rolls Royce, Lamborghini, Maserati, Aston Martin, etc. Fontana Group is located in eleven Italian productive plants, a production plant in Istanbul and one other plant in Romania. Today Fontana Group is a global Group that counts more than 1.000 people and has an annual medium grow rate of 11% .
