Fisk University

For an educational experience that honors the liberal arts tradition at highly ranked Southern institution, explore Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee. Fisk University is an HBCU. Admin Students have a number of co-curricular development opportunities on campus, such as joining one of the school’s many sororities or fraternities, becoming a part of the Student Government Association, or spending some time in the Fisk memorial chapel. Academics offered at the university include a variety of bachelor’s degrees from Art to Nursing to Spanish. Graduate programs are available in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, and pre-professional programs. The Office of Career Development and Leadership provides practical and customized career information and services, like career counseling, mock interviews, resume/cover letter development, and more. Admissions require students to submit an essay addressing one of a selection of topics, such as civic responsibility, how a Fisk alumnus has influenced your life, or the inspirational or insulting nature of rap lyrics.
