Sparbanken Miljö fund's investments can be roughly divided into four different asset classes: capital investments, ie direct investment in companies or projects, direct investments in listed shares, investments in equity funds , fixed-income investments. The goal is for approximately a quarter of the fund's assets to be invested in projects that have a clear environmental theme, e.g. to build a wind farm. In the choice of the fund's direct equity investments, it is taken into account that part of the company's turnover must come from activities that benefit the environment. Other environmental criteria have also been set for the companies.
