To make a living out of your personal creativity in the worlds of fashion, interior design or entertainment, The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in San Francisco, California, may have the academics for you. To continually inspire you, the institute provides a number of exciting college life opportunities. Vibrant exhibits from professional artists, as well as students, are showcased in FIDM’s museums and galleries, while the Student Activities department coordinates many fun social events for students, from fundraising barbecues to book signings. Faculty and staff will also help you develop resume writing and interviewing skills to help you succeed in impressing potential employers. Upon graduation, students become part of FIDM’s enormous international network, which provides an incredible list of job openings in the state, across the nation and all over the world.
