EnSol, Inc. (EnSol) is a green manufacturer of an environmental friendly solvent, EnSol 1000, which is used as a critical component in the fracking of new wells as well as to clean up existing wells The solvent prevents tars and paraffin (wax buildup) from forming in the pipelines during drilling. The paraffin restricts and can even shut off the flow of oil from the drilling as well as plugging tubing in transportation pipelines. After drilling, the oil along with the solvent, is pumped into the oil storage tanks and sold at market with no need for separation. The regular use of the EnSol 1000 will keep the production tubing and gathering pipelines clear of paraffin for easier production of the oil. Furthermore, the solvent can also be used to convert sludge from older wells into usable oil which can then be sold on the market as opposed to the current option of burning it off or dumping it down disposal wells. It also makes the oil lighter solving the problem tar-sands drillers have in pumping the “heavy oil” to the surface. The proprietary technology of Ensol’s Converter uses feedstock from discarded truck tires which allows EnSol to help the environment in a positive way.
