Dalton State College

Serving Whitfield and surrounding Georgia counties, Dalton State College is constantly growing in its offerings and options. Academic programs at Dalton State College include over 70 certificate and two-year degree options in health, business, technology, arts and sciences. However, over the past decade Dalton State has also implemented a number of bachelor’s degree programs as well. So, whether you want to become a certified EMT, get a two-year Nursing degree, or get a bachelor’s in History or Social Work, Dalton State offers it. Dalton State College also continues to grow in its student life offerings. Over the past two years, Dalton State has built on-campus housing facilities to accommodate its growing student population. These apartments provide comfortable living for students who live a significant distance from Dalton State or simply wish to be more immersed in the school experience. Financial aid is available at Dalton State through a combination of grants, work-study, loans, scholarships, Veterans benefits and other tuition assistance programs for those who qualify.
