Chef Koochooloo

Chef Koochooloo is an educational company that includes various products that teach kids math, science, life skills, and global competency. Chef Koochooloo’s enrichment program blends humanity’s oldest means of socialization—cooking and eating together—with its most modern academic lessons. Aligned with Common Core, New Generation Science Standards (NGSS), IB and ELA standards, the classroom embarks on a delicious scientific culinary journey, discovering a new country during each session. Hallmark projects of the company include a TV show, educational kid-friendly cookbook, and an app that enables students to learn relevant math, geography and science concepts as they walk through recipes, in accordance with the students’ grade level. Chef Koochooloo’s mission is to excite kids & educators about discovering the world through healthy, collaborative cooking classes, enriched STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). Our core competency is turning healthy cooking activities and recipes into fun and informative lessons.We are comprised of skilled nutritionists, chefs, creative programmers, curriculum design specialists, teachers, and inspired game designers. We envision that Chef Koochooloo will become a platform for integrating interdisciplinary, hands-on educational enrichment programs into the classroom; cooking and nutrition being our first concentration by giving teachers a flexible software framework and also we become adaptive to other industries that rely on STEM (e.g. music, fashion, maker crafts, etc.) providing assessment tools and lesson planning to these external content activities.
