Whether you’re on the stage or in the audience, the Fine and Performing Arts department hosts many theatre, music and art performances throughout the year. The college’s unique TRIO program offers students a variety of services, including: * Individualized career planning * Educational and social activities * Technology assistance * Diversity awareness and advocacy * Workshops (academic, professional, personal and leadership) A rich student life and supportive environment make the Central Community College an ideal place for students looking for transfer degrees or technical certifications. Academics include more than 14 degrees and certificates, including: * Construction Management * Criminal Justice * Electrical Technology * Mechatronics * Media Arts The college retains an open door admissions policy to eligible students at least 16 years of age. Simply fill out an application, submit a high school transcript or GED and ACT/SAT scores to get started on the enrollment process. Students who have scored less than 19 on the ACT will be required to take an assessment exam prior to enrollment. All students are eligible to apply for Pell grants to help cover the cost of tuition. Other financial aid programs offered by the college include Nebraska Opportunity grants, scholarships and federal student loans.
