It is a small school in a small town, but only minutes from the city. Caldwell awards bachelor’s and master’s degrees in more than 45 areas of study. Caldwell’s programs of study include such disciplines as the behavioral and social sciences, business, liberal arts and humanities. Caldwell’s Special Education program is especially well known. In fact, Caldwell has been a pioneer in the field of Autism research and education. The school’s campus environment is also worth mentioning. Students at Caldwell may enjoy the small town beauty and charm of the campus and the town. At the same time, they could be in the heart of New York City in less than half an hour. In fact, many students go into New York, for entertainment as well as internship assignments. In addition to its traditional degrees, Caldwell has alternative programs. These include a three-year bachelor’s and a five year combined bachelor’s and master’s. In addition to an admissions application, undergraduate applicants will need to submit transcripts, ACT or SAT scores, letters of recommendation and a personal essay. The minimum GPA of admitted students is generally around 3.3. Caldwell offers need-based financial aid awards to eligible students.
