If you are considering becoming a pilot, then Bristow Academy (BA) is the perfect place for you. Specializing in helicopter flight training, BA has one of the largest fleets of training helicopters in the civilian world. Students of BA are trained in real-world situations, such as busy airspace, external load flying, confined area landings, and high-altitude flying. Students will be prepared for everyday flight and not just examinations. While BA does not offer financial aid, they do not require full payment for courses in advance. Students have the option to pay as they go or make payments into their account. Additionally, BA maintains that their tuition is substantially lower than other training schools. The admissions process for American students requires that potential students complete an Enrollment Questionnaire, submit a copy of their high school diploma or GED, submit a copy of the FAA medical certificate and FAA student pilot certificate, a copy of photo identification, a non-refundable application fee and must demonstrate proof of financial stability.
