Saint Joseph’s Seminary and College in Yonkers, New York, offers theological training programs for Christians to transform their future into one of service to their faith, the Archdiocese of New York and the global community. The seminary strives to contribute to your total development: mental, spiritual, intellectual and pastoral. College life at the seminary will consist of daily prayer three times a day and plenty of liturgical celebrations. When you are not studying or praying, you will be actively involved in the Yonkers community. You and other seminarians will work within the diocese to help set up social events and receive pastoral experience in programs like the Field Education, Pastoral Skills Workshops, Theological Reflection and Pastoral Summer Internship programs. To sharpen your speaking and critical thinking skills, Saint Joseph’s offers many interreligious open forums with members of other non-Catholic seminaries throughout Yonkers. Scholars and visiting pastors often stop by Saint Joseph’s to give a lecture or dine with students.
