Aetrex Worldwide is a footwear company that designs and manufactures casual, dress, sandal, athletic, and therapeutic footwear for men and women in unique combinations of sizes, widths, and depths to suit all their footwear needs. Although footwear and orthotics are a major focus of the company, it has also pioneered a digital foot scanner, iStep. This patented foot scanning technology is designed to accurately measure foot size, arch type, and pressure points. The technology immediately custom selects the ideal footwear and orthotics for its users’ feet. Aetrex Worldwide employs over 200 people at its New Jersey headquarters, including fitness experts, footwear designers, podiatrists, and over 20 certified pedorthists. It was named one of New Jersey’s Top 100 Privately-Held Companies for 2010. Aetrex Worldwide was founded in 1946 and is based in Teaneck, New Jersey.
