Chartered with Congressional approval, we opened for business in 1984. We initially operated out of a corporate office just down the street from the U.S. Capitol before relocating to our current location in Falls Church, Virginia.
We incorporated the symbol of the griffin to identify with its features of virtue and strength. These characteristics are reflected not only in the way we do business, but in our commitment to our customers and the community.
