Provide clinical outpatient mental health services to include conducting intake interviews, completing psychosocial assessments, determining DSM 5 diagnosis, and developing treatment plans with measurable goals. Use theoretical models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma Informed Care to facilitate individual, family, and couples therapy sessions with adolescents, adults, families, couples and military service members. Managed MSW & BSW social workers and administrative staff at the Prince George’s County Department of Social Services. Ensured compliance with child welfare policies regarding customer service, case management and service delivery for the Family Preservation Bureau. Provided clinical case supervision to reduce risk and safety concerns for at-risk children and youth. Reviewed and approved client assessments, family service plans, referrals to community-based resources, expense reports, court reports and Family Team Meeting decisions. The Center currently provides care coordination to more than 10,000 individuals across the state of Maryland and works with multiple public and health care agencies to achieve better outcomes for individuals.
