Unicorn Tech is an IT products and solutions firms that specialized in IT security. Main responsibilities: increasing market presence for IT security products, marketing IT solutions to small companies.

A qualitative risk position with primary responsibilities of preparing the Quarterly Financial Business Risk (FBR) and Business Risk reports. Other main responsibilities were peer-analysis, loan book analysis and ad-hoc requests on ING’s risk position from the CRO’s office. The Quarterly FBR is a financial business risk report on ING’s risk positions prepared for the CRO and Management Board of the Bank. This report is used by the Management Board for investor meetings. Worked closely with Investor Relations. Primarily responsible for the Business Risk report - part of the ING’s Risk Dashboard. Developed structured peer analysis within the team – worked on topics including liquidity, quality of loan book. Ad-hoc requests from the CRO’s office, mainly concerning ING’s risk positions and current economic circumstances. This work demanded timely, accurate reactions and the ability to think creatively and with clarity.

ING Investment Management is the Asset Management arm of ING based in Den Haag. Advising equity and sector fund managers on investment decisions with a focus on the following sectors: Financials, Industrials and Materials. Present fund managers with compelling investment cases, price targets, and top down and bottom up sector reports to help with investment decisions within funds. Key Skills: The ability to build financial models, but also look beyond the numbers to find value propositions and good investment opportunities. Identified stocks within sectors using top down macro and sector dynamics, and bottom up fundamental analysis on specific stocks. Developed and maintained financial models (DCF) and made investment recommendations to investment managers by developing price targets, investment cases and investment presentations. Analyzed alternative investment options for Rebalancing Policy of institutional clients and evaluated more efficient Cash Management Policies for Funds

Creating and teaching the Finance track within the Master’s Program. The Finance track challenges students by helping them to understand how much money can and should be raised, when should it be raised and from whom. The students learn about financial modelling, building forecasts, financial analysis, start-up valuations and how to apply this knowledge to their start-up specifically. The course uses real life examples, case studies and articles to make it relevant and practical.
