I assisted in the daily operations of the building, including but not limited to general pool maintenance, home modifications and assistance, providing excellent member service, and visiting satellite locations for assistance in programing and maintenance. I was responsible for the management for all marketing projects, organization-wide. This includes community relations, content creation (i.e., bi-monthly newsletter for 4,500+ members, flyers for internal and external notification of events, and communication with the community about special events), and updating all social media, website and email communications. I created virtual programming for all members including fitness/recreation, education, and seminar style programming. From June 2020 - June 2021, I created 300+ live virtual programs for 3,000+ participants and 900+ hours of on-demand programming.

I managed the Health, Physical Education and Recreation (HPER) Center when upper-level management staff is not available. This managerial role includes giving tours, ensuring security of the building, and maintaining staff policies and procedures while keeping a safe and welcoming environment for all who use the facility.

I created a marketing plan for #GivingTuesday, a global initiative to encourage individuals and groups to give back to organizations in their community. I have also aided in the efforts to pass the senior services levy on the ballot November of 2018, with mailings, yard signs and other activities. I am responsible for renewing memberships and ensuring payment has been collected and membership account information is current.

* The Hagen Center houses Wittenberg University's community outreach program. We work to * build relationships with community organizations that share our goal to strengthen the * Springfield community. During my internship, an open staff position afforded me the * opportunity to: * provide extensive maintenance and freshening of programs before they resumed in the fall * design invitations and programs for the Summer Internship presentations using Canva * create marketing materials for the Passport to Springfield event in August * update student and partnership information for the 50/50 student employment program * confirm and update contracts with partners in preparation of the academic year * update onboarding documents for the Community Scholar program, 50/50 program, while creating checklists for each program * At the end of the summer, I was invited to continue my work and internship and to participate as a member of the selection committee to fill the open staff position.

During this internship, I created presentations and materials for a variety of financial education events (i.e., elementary school-age summer programs and college student loan programs). I learned how to use Photoshop to design advertisements specifically geared toward student and college accounts. I developed my people skills conducting site visits to state agencies in the Riffe Tower, Rhodes Tower, and state prisons around Ohio talking to employees about different banking options. I also attended events sponsored by CUO around the central Ohio area (i.e., Hilliard Summer Concert Series, Taste of Hilliard, and Pearl Alley Summer Farmer's Market). I created a marketing strategy to promote saving money among elementary students in the Hilliard City School District by incentivizing them with matched initial deposits. I compared financial services and benefits between CUO and local banks to create easily comparable brochures for members and prospects who are interested in CUO services.

I am currently working to restart programming at USS downtown and satellite locations. This includes over 40 weekly programs downtown and 10 weekly programs at each of the 3 satellite locations. I am responsible for the development and execution of new programs and activities, partnerships with local agencies, and tracking membership participation in programming.
