Continued prior work on MarketLink for several months, then was asked to join a new effort (Agent Gateway Marketing) rewriting the application using J2EE technologies and Agile practices. Continued prior work on CSC Workbench for one year, where I also led a front-end redesign effort, including content management. Transitioned to a new application, MarketLink, where I was responsible for all phases of development from prototyping through support on an ASP- and VB-based application used by over 24,000 agents. In its first year, this application brought in over $1 million dollars in premium and won a company award for the best development project. Led middle-tier VB component development, including conversion of components to utilize an entirely new DB2/AS-400 database (formerly Teradata). Supported the application in all environments from demo and test through production, and worked with customers to resolve issues and outages.
