Majority of time spent on ALS/Hazmat Engine. Supervising a 4 person crew on 48/96 shift schedule. Responding to Fire, EMS, Hazmat and Brush incidents. Normal volume 80% ems based calls. Spent 3 years as department Training Captain. Tracking and overseeing all aspects of training for a department of approx 100 sworn members. Oversaw maintenance and operation of shared training academy with neighboring city. Training program included EMS, Firefighting, wildland, and Hazmat. Met or exceeded all aspects of NFPA, OSHA and city requirements.

Currently assigned as Training Chief. Implemented and maintain a robust training program focused on national standards and a regional approach to hands on training for our responders. This included EMS, firefighting, incident command, hazmat and wildland programs. Oversee maintenance and operation of a joint training facility with neighboring jurisdiction. Previously Shift Commander for "A" Shift, overseeing daily staffing and operations for 6 stations and a 195 mile response area. Response to regional emergency as command officer, operating in a automatic aid system. Spent 2 years as Logistics Battalion Chief. Oversaw maintenance for 6 stations, a fleet of 12 large apparatus and 30 support vehicles. Managed protective gear for 100 personnel. Created and implemented a ten year replacement plan, purchased 4 new apparatus and oversaw the replacement of the departments SCBA's.
