I have over 25 years experience as a freelance writer, technical writer and editor having worked on projects ranging from magazine articles, medical briefings, lectures, training guides, software manuals, help systems, presentations, speeches, to marketing and promotional copy.

I was responsible for researching, writing, compiling, formatting, and editting technical manuals for newly constructed vessels to include technical overhaul and repair standards, equipment manuals, and system manuals for the military contracts. I am the lead technical writer for the Technical Repair Standards on the USCG Fast Response Cutter project. I was assigned to coach, mentor, and train a new team of technical writers working on the Depot Level Technical Overhaul and Repair manuals for the USN SSC vessels.

I was responsible for writing all technical documents for the company's software products to include end user manuals, internal documentation, marketing documents, technical specifications, how-to manuals, and help files.My duties also included beta testing of the software products, help desk analyst, and technical support for our clients. I also wrote and implemented train-the-trainer documentation in order to reduce the number of direct customer help cases. It was my job to work with the SMEs to understand and translate the highly technical information and write it in easy to follow and understand manuals for our end users.

Freelance media relations working with online and land based radio stations, website promotion, marketing, and literature creation.

I handled all online media and publicity for The Worshyp via social media outlets, radio stations, magazines, blogs, websites, etc. I wrote their press releases, Electronic Press Kits, and handled the media promotions for the band on radio stations both land based and internet based.

I served as the briefing support specialist for the Commander of Operations Group with Cubic Applications, Inc. for the Joint Readiness Training Center at Ft. Polk. I was responsible for the daily operations management of three command conference rooms for OPS group and graphic coordinator for all command level briefings, training and support of a team of six graphic and visual information professionals. One of my last major projects was working with the planners, project managers, Pentagon, and Executive staff members on the Stryker Brigade Combat Team as part of the new Army Transformation.

Photography writer and editor for the Photography Forum. During that time I wrote over 32 articles that are still in circulation and have been republished by several other websites and ezines.

As a professional photographer and loyal Nikon user, I was chosen as the moderator and author for the Female Photographer's Forum. It was my job to keep the female photographers motivated and active in the forums despite the heavy male presence of the site.

I operated three complete film proessing labs to include E6, C41, and BW processes and printing for all of the European medical community at Landstuhl Regional Army Medical Center. I also operated a full-service professional photography studio for the U.S Army professionals as well as working as a medical, forensic, and scientific photographer. As a graphic illustrator, I was responsible for the creation of medical, scientific, and forensic briefings, media, posters, artwork, pamphlets, booklets, and training material.
