Senior lecturer of the synthesis modules in the EMBA of the HEG : this part of the MBA cursus is made of 2 modules: company management simulation where we ensure that students have the capacity to work together and actually implement what they learnt in the previous modules. The second module is the management essay. This is an individual work, on a dedicated subject (based on the student profile and identified management weaknesses). The aim is to simulate a high pressure period (48 hours) and see what quality the student is able to deliver in a short time.As the HEG EMBA was new at the time of on-boarding, I had to setup that unusual teaching concept based on the student profile evaluation. The underlying idea was to use more realistic situations than usual exams or MBA memorandum in order to provide hands-on capable graduates.
